Linda, I have a mac too and I do some trading, only 1-2 per week . I requested too an application from Web Street. I like that chart where they have the moving averages (I believe). If you get it going, please let me know how it works. Trendsetter could be good, I just do not know how any software would integrate with the need of constant immediate update which only the web can offer. Signal online does not offer level II, but they will soon. However, one of their people was telling me that the requests for level II has cooled off. Telechart 2000 has a unique feature of the buying and selling activity, but from what I understand it is only at the end of the day. They are very cheap but we need Virtual PC. One last question: Could you please tell me what streaming is? Is it when the screen updates automatically the real time quotes of your stocks? Finally, I have been using Discover brokerage since 1996. I also have accounts with full service brokers. With all I have learned from the online sources, I still believe there is nothing like a honest and intelligent broker. When I talk to them. I always have the quote on my computer from Discover and they are always, always updated to the second with what the broker is looking at. So Discover gives real real time quotes, second to none and for free. best regards, Alfredo |
