J Fieb,

I think this is fairly old news. I checked my e-mail files and found references to it dating back to May 1997. It wouldn't surprise me to see expansions of this or similar systems bacause of the data intensive nature of radiology systems. It would also be good to see an all FC version. My recollection of the UCLA system is that it is based on an ethernet LAN and Newbridge Networks ATM switches for communication across their campuses. A medical campus that is geographically compact would be ideal for a radiology LAN/SAN.

It would also be intersting to see what class 4 would have to offer medical campuses.
