James...anyone.else...Pardon my ignorance about MM's...

Just when I think I understand the MM's mode of operation someone posts additional info about how they operate and I'm thrown into confusion once again...James you mentioned HNLY "refused to loan a share to the MM's"...does this mean companies intentionally give shares to MM's to manipulate a stock, or do they loan shares to individuals not knowing they are MM's...exactly who are these people??? It seems to be illegal, but yet everyone is aware of MM's, I have never paid attention to their existence...

Sorry I'm adding questions not related to HNLY, but this MM stuff is really just a ball of confusion for me...I bought HNLY because I like what I read...same as AGTI and BNTI...(not hyping here)...but I've been reading so much about MM's on this thread and many others trying to explain what MM's are that I had to finally ask for some clarification as to how they actually operate...

Is there a link somewhere that goes into detail with examples, or is it a concept best understood thru expereince??? You or anyone else could e-mail a response (gnt333@aol.com) if you don't wish to go into detail here...

Thanks...Bulgar
