Hi Pancho
Well I got back to San Diego from New Orleans alive in one piece.
As you know, I bought the April 100 calls @ 24 to try to hedge against my 2k shorts @100,105. I did this to buy some time until I got back here and to figure out where I go from here.
There's a part of me that wants to sell my calls and short some more (not puts, I hate time limitations, when its going the wrong way) at the getgo on Mon.
I agree with you about waiting until the split. Is it Mar 16? I think Aol will not peak until then. The only $ risk I have until then is the 2-3 points of premium.
The only thing that might change my strategy is a good 10 point decline, as someone here also pointed out. Aol 2 point drop yesterday means zip.
The best lesson I've got here, is to stop trying to be a Mr Spock. Logic means zip here. I never rode the Iomega tidal wave, either way but it sure reminds me of this situation.
Actually, I'm hoping, we just maintain the status quo, until the split.
This is a great thread, and the only Posts here that I just click next and don't read are the one's that say ' I can't believe' or 'Never'.
