Anyone who says that differences in corporate cultures is "psycho-babble" has never been involved in one of these. Though its a different industry, look at what happened to Danka when it took over a huge piece of Kodak's business. The difference in cultures was HUGE and the result was a mess for Danka. How about the merger that created Bay Networks, read the management statements in the year after that. Combining large companies is no small trick. That's not to say it can't be done, its not easy.
