As a reformed Yahoo! short, may I suggest you keep a tight stop and don't go to your grave on this one. Anytime I am checking my portfolio with My Yahoo!, seeing ads for the Yahoo! Visa card, and telling my mother-in-law to try looking up that thing she needs on Yahoo! because it is a true directory and not a dumb search engine....I see brand appeal and major media force out the wazoo. The people who told me so on the thread (including a guy who used to work in advertising for ABC or something) had a point.

Now this doesn't mean that the stock won't eventually normalize based on some kind of earnings model. But this could be 5 years away, and in the meantime the stock could double.
