<< Well said, Robert!! (:>) >> Now..... your note is a perfect example of someone who has better judgement than tonyt! <g> Andrew, I've been noticing, especially in my own portfolio, that most biotechs seem to be in a malaise. So, I went to the Group Graphs in SI and started listing 7 groups of biotechs on the same 100 day chart. It really looks sad. Even most of the biotechs, that I checked, that have done well, over the 100 day period, were WAY down prior to the period. I hold Fidelity's Biotech mutual fund. It hasn't done too badly, but I feel that they are heavily weighted in the established drug companies, which like the large cap Dow stocks, have done well. We've got low interest rates, an expedited FDA process, a climate favorable for drug development, the President saying in his "State of the Union" that he wants more funds for biotechs, and analysts saying that the next two years are going to include the largest number of new drugs in the history of biotech. What is it going to take to start a strong biotech rally!?!! Regards, Bob |
