Interesting article. Although the performance issue is a little concerning. I think it pushes back the timeframe of an investment in Corel based on its Java suite. Once the bandwith issue is solved, I'm convinced that the product could do well. Even if MS comes out with a comparable product I beleive firms like Netscape would be more inclined to partner with someone like Corel versus Miscrosoft. There is always the possibility of a new kid on the block, but it would probably take sometime to come up with a product offering as mature as Wordperfect and Quattro.

I also read that for the last quarter, Corel's office suite outsold MS.
