Yes, I'am still in Rainmaker and it is still undervalued.
As a Oracle customer who has just migrated from Baan, I have an intimate knowledge of Oracle products. We are using Oracle 8.0 and it is becoming more and more like a BI product.
It has supports data mining and analysis of HR and Financials(as always) plus lots of features that Impromptu and Powerplay have.
If you don't think Oracle is going to compete you are being deluded, I don't know if you've used any of their new products or if you're even familiar with them but they are definitely blurring the line and I personally have talked to colleagues who would love to only have to deal with one implementation of the product and deal with one support station. This yields tremendous economies of scale when you consider the wasted resources in implementing and supporting software from various vendors.
