Zeev's point makes a lot of sense.

I'm sure you're aware of recent concern regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF) created by devices used close to the person & its possible relationship with cancer-related diseases. We hear much concern over the continued placement of the cellular phone next to the brain.

This concern, regardless of its merit, may very well create consumer demand for near-zero voltage devices. Reason being, the lower the voltage across the circuit, the weaker the EMF.

Can such devices be marketed as more safe & thus merit a higher purchase price & therefore warrant the increased costs associated with near zero voltage devices?

Food for thought.
