Good to hear some sense of reason on this thread....

You're analysis of Dell is right on as far as I'm concerned.
Dell is definitely a terrific company, but the share price is
clearly out of line with fundamentals. Unfortunately the stock is
clearly in the hands of momentum investors now, so fundamentals
don't really matter much (at least for now). Sooner or later,
this baby will come back down to reality.

btw: I looked at a couple of numbers this morning to get a better
picture of the 'extent' of Dell's overvaluation:

CPQ 48.5 billion 24.6 billion 1.97 19%

GTW 6.9 billion 6.3 billion 1.09 14%

NOte: some of the revenue numbers are estimates, but they
should be pretty close.
