I've updated the Super-Express for Datek page:

stockclub.com

Thanks to everyone here and on the "Datek Web Pages" thread for the feedback. I've trimmed things down further and rearranged the page a bit.

Extending the "less is more" principle, I've replaced those big ugly buttons with simple text links. (Used some tricky JavaScript to perform the form POST.)

I also moved the links to the bottom of the top frame and put the password field in a popup. I'd hesitated initially to put the password in a popup, since I thought this would be "scarey" for users - but there really isn't any security difference between it being in a popup or being on the page. Still, the feeling IS "scarey". :)

I haven't fiddled with styles on the top frame yet, and I can probably squeeeze it even more.

I'll see about getting rid of the logo and buttons in the bottom frame for MSIE maybe tomorrow. For Netscape, this would require a plugin - quite a bit of work - but I think I should be able to come up with a nice treat for those of you using MSIE 4.01.
