Michael, you just help support my long term fundamental thinking. It is worth such a high market cap because people are willing to pay the price and they "believe" that the stock is going to keep going up. Remember the greed and fear statement about wallstreet, well on Friday over 18 million shares of dell were traded. The shorts are the minority with this stock so one would assume that most of the trades were from day traders and longs and of course some shorts. Bottom line, greed. Was Friday a buying climax for Dell with a 6 point move and 18 million shares traded, who knows and time will tell.

We are being told by the mutual fund companies that we are in a new era, throw the old theories out the window because it is different this time. I say it is different right now. I say in 20 years things will average out to historical norms. Does Dell deserve a market cap equal to GM, yes if people want to pay for it. What do I think the market cap should be ,,,,I don't want to say because I am biased but my answer is not 50 billion.
