Nice idea. I have not followed any active thread that did not do 2 things:

1) Turn into an electronic social club.

2) Attract one or more participants who's purpose is to denigrate the stock and it's investors.

I happen to believe that #1 above is very good for investors, SI, and the market in general. The feeling of isolation has, over the decades, caused investors to make mistakes, miss opportunities and (worst of all) think of a broker as a trusted friend, rather than a predator to be feared.

I put up with #2 even though it wastes everyone's time, simply because the benefits of this forum vastly outweigh the costs.
