This is in sharp contrast to your post 1382 regarding Oracle,anyhow, this is the point as companies migrate to NT based servers(already 40% of large co's), the product of choice has and will continue to be Oracle.I'am looking to at least 5yrs time and not the present as most companies are slowly phasing out the plethora of diff vendors software and consolidating to make their IT depts more managable and cost effective.
I think it would make more sense at this point for a merger of an ERP company to a BI company(ie. SAP,Peoplesoft,Baan etc.)This would spur better implementation of enterprise wide solutions.
