Ray, Jim, Pat & friends - What a fitting tribute to Amati and technology. BellBoy, the only grandson of a AT&T Long Lines Operator and BellBoy's Son are checking the Amati posts and noted your poetry in words and music.
I started checking posts and clicked on Ray's link. Up popped my Compaq midi player and my son & I were in awe. It's Saturday night, there's a rainstorm & lightning and we're playing "Riders on the Storm."
I purchased a Compaq Presario 300 with DVD and 17 inch speakers with the digital dolby sound. Yikes, my son & I find new things every day. FYI, things are starting to click in Dilbert land. DSL is on it's way. Compaq is in the lead and pushing the industry hard. Thank you all for your valued efforts.
Most classes I offer this year will be Distance Learning via T1 to multiple sites. Within a few years, everything we do today will be done from the desktop. Things that were done via T3 can be accomplished via T1. Site hook ups are just a phone call for reservations and locations. Graphics, videos and sound are great, unless your watching "The Terminator".
When I get my DMT, I will be truly in the fast lane.
Your Humble Servant & Friend,
:)
BellBoy
PS - Don't think this guy's been drinking, cause I haven't had a drink in a long time. |
