Have been a long time customer of American Airlines. Am NOT a shareholder, nor do I intend to be. This past week my flight was cancelled because a plane was "out of service", and I also noticed that 4 other flights were cancelled because the planes were "out of service". Now, mind you, this was in ONE airport, in a two hour period of time...this disturbs me...how many airplanes are OUT OF SERVICE, and WHY aren't they being PREPARED and ready to go? And how many American Airlines airplanes are cancelled in a DAY in all the airports because they are OUT OF SERVICE. Scary.
What's happening with American Airlines? I have also noticed on 4 flights recently that the CUSTOMER service leaves a lot to be desired.
