Thanks Phillip, but you're way too kind.

While I'm a resolute agnostic about technical analysis, (IMO, it's a belief system that works insomuch as people believe in it) I *very* much appreciate your eye opening posts on AAPL's recent rising price and volume.

I haven't had much to say because most of the polemics have been exhausted and I had little to add. I will say this though. A lot of this thread discussion has on tertiary stuff - earnings, etc. Not enough focus is made analyzing the company, its technology and potential applications.

No one should miss the forest for the trees. Jobs' isn't content with creating a profitable niche to hide in, he wants to remake AAPL into the undisputed technological leader of the computing world!

AAPL's problem is no longer conception but execution of a very ambitious soup-to-nuts (pun!) hardware-software; server-to-desktop-to-nc-to-wireless-handheld; enterprise-higher-education-content-creation-hard sciences-soho-k-12, etc. etc. strategy.

Asshole Jobs has his eye on the prize! He wants to drive the Rhapsody-nee-Enterprise-PowerPC/Merced thing right up Gates'/McNeely's/Groves'/Dell's butts and then license them the KY jelly.

He'll either accomplish this or burn out in the attempt.
