NOVL
I'm not terribly worrid, Charlotte. I will know within five minutes of open whether it will have any real impact. And if it does, there will be a minor intraday selloff that will be over halfway through the morning - and too fast to do anything about other than to reaccumulate on the bottom if you want - which I probably won't unless it goes really low - which I also don't expect (geez - now there is a run on sentence for you). These types of suits are incredibly common, and pretty worthless unless you are one of the lawyers. Three of my stocks last year had them; one dipped, one leveled, an one ignored it.
I looked at the period in question against what the company was saying and I don't see any basis for it. But then there ususally isnt, and the lawsuits rarely win. The stock has some great potential - more upside than down. But look at it this way - even if a stock tanks over real news, is it a recoverable postion? If any postion I hold goes down, and happens bfore a protective stop is set, do I hold or take the loss? In NOVL's case, I will sit on it until it recovers because it is well postioned for growth. Stay calm, and don't overreact to the news. Act decisively and for the right reasons at the right time. If any stock rops that you hold, ask yourself if it would be a good time to buy it - if it is, then don't selloff your postion. I will post to the thread and the chat by 9:45 am Monday my put on it.
By the way, had you bought some calls, I would still be in this...
