Jim--Re:<<Could you recommend a shorting strategy or perhaps a put strategy with some price targets this quarter and next?>>

I would suggest that if one is looking at getting short do not short the whole position at once. Just like if you were looking to get long something. Kind of ease your way into your position, maybe by doing 25% at a clip spaced out over a week or so.

Options I do not play with. Although I fully understand the option process and have read many good books on the subject, I have never once entered an option trade in my 6 or 7 years in the market.

I really do not have any set price targets on the downside. But I do feel that DELL could correct 10-20% in a short period of time, say within 4 weeks. Obviously the price of DELL will be much much higher as we look well into the future, but in this window of time that we are in right now, I feel like it is a good sell. If I was still holding my shares from $20 I bought in October of 1996 (long since sold, at around $60 if I recall), I would not sell. But if I had bought in say the past 6 weeks, I would highly consider it.

DELL will be much higher 5 years from now.
