I think the "right wing conspiracy" stuff is a red herring. The fact remains that the media presented innuendo, rumor, speculation and gossip, as "facts". In their hurry to be first with the story, they didn't care to check if it was true! And I really don't care if Dan Rather goofed on his own, or did it because the right wing made him do it.

Anyway, it's interesting to hear that NPR's Money Talk has turned bearish... thanks for that information.
