My apologies. I tried. At 2 AM saturday morning I apparently hit something other than the submit button. It was one helluva post too! Today my ISP went TU. Just got back on through another ISP. A real comedy of errors. So now I will attempt to reconstruct my earlier failed post. A few caveats are in order. Being an information relay in a potentially volatile situation does not make me comfortable. I don't like being bitten on the butt! Thus my suggestion in an earlier post to contact IMES and source your own info. Unfortunately there seems to be no other info being posted as coming directly from IMES. Since I believe time is running short and concur with several earlier posts that management and the board need to hear from all of us I'm sticking my neck out. But padding my butt! What follows is from memory. When Bill Young returned my call (from numerous messages left and pestering of anyone I could talk to - and luck I suppose)I was not in a position to take notes. Read at your own risk! IMES is NOT now in a quiet period. I could ask and BY could respond within limits to developments at the company. The META 6000 is shelved (read that as history). The window of opportunity closed and company had to move forward. IMSLIB is a see and feel, tangible product. According to BY IMSLIB has increased the efficiency of one customers application by a magnitude of 3 to 5 times (Frank care to respond?) IMSLIB is not design specific to just semiconductor application, but to a host of other applications. IT WORKS! And unlike previous projects can be presented to potential investors as functional rather than developmental. Cash flow situation is SEVERE!!! The situation either will be or will need to be resolved within the next two weeks. The secondary offering is gone. Underwriter out of bus. With it the reverse split. Funding will NOT come from the public sector. IMES stock is too "beaten down" and carries too much past baggage to be credible to institutional investors. Thus the private sector for financing. No odds given on probability of success. Nor mention of whom is being approached. No answer or evasive on question of Cadence contract extending beyond the original news release. Did state that Cadence had given IMES "software tools" for further development of IMSLIB (approximate value two million). On current contracts only one mentioned at approx. two hundred thousand over 20 months. California office closed to reduce overhead. George retired for same reason. California IMSLIB development engineers being transferred to Austin and should arrive within several days. It is implied no one is spending time on chip development. Other than trivial chit chat that's basically it. In retrospect I should have asked more. I didn't. FUNDING IS CRITICAL!!! STAYING PUBLIC IS CRITICAL!!! Please contact IMES board, management and IR and make your views known. Demand to be made aware of current events. Time is running out.
