You mean the government contracts? The concept of a totalitarian government getting hold of this technology does smack of an Orwellian or Kafkesk fantasy.Would any government, given the means, become totalitarian? The stuff for the next generation of scary movies. There are of course also the possibilities of modelling complex physical, environmental, health and economic systems? maybe we will see a generation of artificial intelligences emerging to make full use of this technology. Is anyone in management really smart enough to ask the most revealing questions? Any science fiction writers out there?. Does anyone think that power corrupts? Is this really a powerful system ? Where will we go with this technology?
