Well, I see we have descended into the 'Intelligent Post" category, so it's probably time I threw MY two cents worth in here.
This, being their very first tournament, will not gain any huge profits or cut any huge deals or get any huge press or tv coverage, but, if successfully done sets the stage for next year. Or, possibly another or multiple tournaments in the other major golf areas, such as FL, CA, HI, etc.
So they're a new untested company, so they've never put one of these together before. The main thing is that they do this one right, build a foundation for the next, etc. I'm not a golfer, but as a businessman I see the bucks these "Golf People" are willing to pay and these guys are going for a piece of the pie. If they are knowledgable businessmen, and from what I have read of their experience they are, then they are going to achieve their goals and get those bucks. Now I think is the time we investors (Yes, I own some) have to sit and see how well they do their jobs.
I only live a few miles from the tournament site and may just go out and see how it goes on March 30th. If I do, I'll let you all know what I see.
