I have owned shares in both HUGO and CHK for sometime. Yes, I believe it does make sense but wish more details about properties and anticipated operational synergies were included in the documents. I read the package from each company; I read them hastily --- may have missed something but plan to read again before I mail in the proxy. I fully intend to vote YES at this time. "Either way, a number of individuals cut a slice out of the pie for themselves before the merger is complete and the closets are emptied." What do you mean by this? The HUGO severance agmts? If so, this is not unusual IMO.
