Bill, my experience with mechanical indicators is that they best work in a given trend were you fine tuned them. In other words if you have a set of indicators in an upside move, they will not work in a side ways move and vice versa. Same will apply to bear markets. As a result sentiment is of substantial importance, as are fundamentals, or better said "accepted fundamentals", which bring us back to the irrational thinking, which tries to explain "irrationality" with rational clauses. Oh well I do not own a crystal ball <;'( Sounds confusing oh well that is the human nature <ggg> BWDIK Haim
