You have a lot to learn about trusting anyone on the Internet or the SI threads. I don't trust anyone, but I do look for a logical progression of information. Provide your information and when you don't have a URL, expect questions. Don't worry about lurkers/posters trusting you.

>> Now the termination was succinct and directed at the fringes of engineering development, so hopefully it doesn't hurt the internal programs much...... Take this in part as opinion, mine and my friends, and as fact (there were terminations in R&D). <<

Would you like to discuss what you mean by "fringes of engineering development". I think it would help us all in our understanding of Westell's position. I don't have a problem with an Ex-Westell employee venting on the SI threads.

>> HDSL does sell outside the US. What is WSTL current volume on the European product? But why did you post the press release for the automatic protection switch, which has nothing to do with HDSL? Yes WSTL sells an HDSL product internationally but it lacks some features or it would do better. <<

My only point was Westell has an HDSL product. I'm glad to see Westell does have the "H" in xDSL and is working with TI to get the "V". Why did I post the Korea URL in which I bolded the phrase?

...Westell has also been selected to continue research and development toward the installation of an E1 standards product....

I posted this in reference to your claim that Westell doesn't have an HDSL product and they weren't developing additional products in this area... R&D. What is your spin of the above quote from Westell?

>> Now is Korea paying for that European R&D project? <<

I don't have that information. If Korea isn't paying for the R&D, Westell is.

>> One last comment on the employee situation. You folks on the thread immediately took Seamans' illness as some lame sign of his departure....... why has the company not told everyone that he is not coming back, that his 3 month LOA means that he was ousted and why didn't they convey this message to their people? <<

I don't know... until later.
