Has anyone ever made the argument that perhaps MRV's inventory levels were low by industry standards to begin with? Can someone perhaps do an analysis on some standard industry ratios and compare MRV's to those of CSCO, BAY and 3COM? Maybe there's a little nugget in this for all of us.

Secondly, I would be most concerned with INTC's intentions at this point. Did they just use MRVC to get their foot in the door and are now tossing MRVC by the wayside?

How many shares of stock did INTC sell in the latest downdraft? Just as important, how many did they buy. This may be difficult to find out. Seth appears to have extensive information resources in this area maybe he can help us?

With MRVC at bargain basement prices, why isn't INTC snapping MRVC up? If INTC was truly interested in gaining market share immediately by eliminating a competitor in the same niche market that they are trying to enter, it seems to be that this is a no brainer.

In this regard, it seems that MRVC's destiny is tied directly to INTC. Even though time is of the essence for INTC in regards to entering this market now, they can attempt to grow their own acquired technology. Give it a chance since they've already paid for it. While keeping MRVC in their hip-pocket in case they ever need them.

Oh yeah, by the way MRVC, you're under a nondisclosure agreement with us, so you can't even tell anybody what you're doing for us.

THAT'S WHY YOU SEE THIS STOCK SELLING AT 18 TIMES 1998 EXPECTED EARNINGS.
