I recieved the following copy of a complaint about "Little Rod" that was sent to the webmaster of Silicon Investor as well as CC'd to me and others on this thread. I have left out the name of the person who wrote it for their rights to privacy and protection from "little Rod" as I am starting to wonder that he may be dangerous. My reply to XXXX and the webmaster follows.
(BTW XXXX thanks for your concerns, but I do have free speech concerns and have addressed them in my reply)

Dear XXXXX
I agree that Mr. McFearson is a waste of time, but he has every right to say what he wants, insulting or not. If he starts threatening me with harm or something that's a different story and I would take appropriate action.
BUT-I am a believer in FREE SPEECH, so let him prattle on. In the meantime I suggest the best way to deal with him is to completely IGNORE him.
If you pick at a SCAB it just gets bigger and nastier, if you put some salve on it, a band-aid and leave it alone, it tends to go away on its own.
I just feel it's a slippery slope to start "banning" anybody and everybody that doesn't agree with us. Mr. McFEARson "enjoys" baiting people>DON'T take the bait. He'll eventually go fishing at another spot.
Thanks for the note and lets try to make the post a better place for
idea exchange, info and -yes- even a little fun now and again.
