I am so glad you're not going to stop short of the mark. Originally church was where the Ark was housed, and God literally stayed in the Temple. That is why they were told to bring a 10th of everything to Malchesidek and others, so they wouldn't be starved, naked, and without the slightest human comforts. Why? Because they were supposed to spend all of their time with God in complete prayer and personal fellowship. And when they failed, remember what was supposed to happen--they were to drag the dead body out by the sash.

Serious stuff indeed. And of course we all know this is no longer
ancient Isreal in 1500 b.c. or earlier.

But just keep looking. I maintain to the death that the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ cannot turn anyone off in the slightest. He is without the ability to turn us off. Good clue to look for along the way to finding
where He does hang out.
