I thought of something this weekend as I wandered around Wal-Mart. It seemed like there was Disney everywhere. From Videos to Mickey and Pooh licensed merchandise. Even about 1/3 of the Easter Baskets had Mickey or Minnie in them. I wonder how much Disney gets from this licensing? Also they are building good brand recognition by plastering their characters all over. Even the McDonalds in the SuperCenter I visited had Peter Pan toys in their HappyMeals.
