Hi M,

In Q3 Novell took a $55 million restructuring charge and gave clear guidance to the investment community that the move would save the company about $100 million per year ($25 million per quarter). Novell was able to realize the benefits of the restructuring in Q4.

Now, 9 months after the restructuring began, Novell is suddenly able to magically cut $20 million in expenses without any kind of restructuring and refuses to give the investment community any kind of guidance on how they were able to accomplish this feat, or if it can be repeated. If those were not necessary expenses why weren't they cut 9 months ago? If they can keep doing it, why "no comment".

Regards,

Don
