Alomex,
I appreciate your comments. Just a couple of notes. This is my personal opinion. By the time the earnings are out and evidence of sustained growth appears, the big money has already moved in. The best money I have ever made has been with companies where I took a bit of a risk and got in before a lot of other folks. Made some excellent money in WDC on its run up from 28 into the 50's. For me, Apple is another calculated risk (Calculated to the extent I am able.) that I hope will pay off.

Secondly, I think there will be a run up of some sort when Apple names a new CEO provided that the person has a very good reputation. It will be seen as a stabilizing move. I would like to be in for that. If I decide to become a long term holder, which I would dearly like, then I agree with your statement 100%. Evidence of sustained earnings, growth, I guess forward progress is imperative. -Keith-
