George,

Just a couple of comments/questions.

(1) With an anticipated construction cost of $375M, I expect it would cost a pretty penny to join the consortium, even assuming the big guys (AT&T, MCI WorldCom, & Sprint) are paying the lion's share. I wonder if WorldPass has done a cost tradeoff based on the cost of consortium membership and the following issues.
(2) If WorldPass or others aren't original members of the consortium, I wonder if they'll be locked out of usage?
(3) Assuming consortium non-members can gain access, I wonder what the pricing model will look like?
(4) Assuming consortium non-members can't gain access, I wonder how the pricing of using Americas I will compare to that of Americas II?
(5) Is the WorldPass acquisition cost justifiable based on switching only North American traffic?

I agree these are serious considerations and should be taken into account in any decisions re: WorldPass.
