I spoke earlier today about the Japanese coming to the American Market, here is a little taste of what is to come, was in a news headline on Yahoo a few minutes ago:

PALO ALTO, Calif., March 1 (Reuters) - Packard Bell NEC Inc. will unveil a new line of powerful personal computer workstations on Monday, to take on offerings from rivals like Compaq Computer Corp. [NYSE:CPQ - news], company executives said.

The PowerMate Professional 9000 series, geared toward engineers and high-end graphic designers, will feature Intel Corp.'s [Nasdaq:INTC - news] fastest Pentium II microprocessor, Microsoft Corp [Nasdaq:MSFT - news].'s Windows NT operating system and 3D graphics electronics from AccelGraphics Inc [Nasdaq:ACCL - news].

The new line will help Packard Bell NEC, the third-biggest U.S. PC maker, enter the $6.0 billion workstation market, company executives said. Currently, companies like Compaq, International Business Machines Corp. [NYSE:IBM - news] and Dell Computer Corp. [Nasdaq:DELL - news] dominate the market.
