Hello Dr, I've always done OK selling covered calls, although had my stock called on more than one occassion, but even in this market, I feel uncomfortable selling naked calls. To some degree it goes against my nature to short, or make bearish bets. I attempt to generate a minimum of 10% and ideally 22%+ return on margin per trade in 30 days. Selling the calls that will produce these type of returns are to close to the money. On the other hand, selling puts is a bullish bet and I've had great luck selling them 5 points out of the money when I feel a stock is at the bottom of a trading range.

I think TBR may separate from our market and action may start picking up. I really felt the market would pull back last week and the lull in the Brazilian news machine might pull TBR back further then it did. Jeremy hit it right on at 118. Watch for earnings early this week.

regards
