Kas1 - by chance did you read the conference call summaries or listen to it yourself? The real benefit from listening to the conference call is getting a feel for how the company is managed. We all know that Bill did not win his wars based on the technical superiority of his product. He won through great management and mistakes by competitors (and some would say luck). WIND has both great management AND a superior product (apparently why they can charge an arm and a leg for a license). WIND does not make bets on winning technology - they play all sides. They have a great business model. Most importantly - the time to develop a superior hard RTOS is significantly greater than the time to develop a desktop OS (someone correct me if I am wrong, but didn't RON say that they put 40,000 man years into Tornado before its launch?). Unless Bill plans to devote major resources (including hiring away enough engineers from WIND and probably INTS) He will not make it in the hard RTOS world.

Dave or Allen - please help me out here...

Good luck on your investing,

Carolyn
