Certainly there are ways to do so, and we continue to pursue them wherever we can. That's why our standalone business continues on. The way to ramp things quickly, however, is through leveraged partnerships with larger players. That is why we have IBM, for example. We want more than one, however, since a single customer OEM plan is historically a pretty nasty situation to be in.
Believe me, I share your frustration. I've been playing this game with NCD for 10 years. It is incredibly annoying to talk to a customer, have them say, "Why, yes, everything you said did come true, except it worked better, lasted longer, and cost less! Oh, and I probably won't be buying too many more cuz it's not the politically correct thing to do - we'll be buying PC's, and buying them again and again and again, since they don't last longer than 3 months ... ". Sigh :(. |
