Steven, Just look at its press release (http://www.dell.com/dell/media/98/9802/18.htm) and you can see its EPS for FY98 is $2.56 Diluted (which is what matters, not basic EPS)... When in doubt, always look at the direct source (DELL)...In fact, always look at a direct source because sometimes sources such as yours can be incorrect...
