If Smith Barney ANALysts issue an upgrade or make favorable comments about CPQ within the next 2 or 3 weeks, we will definitely know they are manipulating the movement of the stock. At that point we (the SI group) should write an OPEN LETTER to Smith Barney and put it in the Investors Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal and challenge the motives of this financial house. I am more than willing to contribute my share of the expense if the rest of you are interested in this approach. We have to show these firms that they can no longer get away with manipulative tactics. Otherwise we will continue to be victimized over and over (and lose a lot of money in the process).
