Personally, I don't find the comment unclear at all. :) The Ashton NR states:

The first two magnetic anomalies drilled in areas about 30km east of the earlier discoveries have proven to be reflections of kimberlite.

The magnetic anomalies turned out to be, in fact and as suspected prior to drilling, reflections of kimberlite. The anomalies are described as the reflections, later drilled. This seems completely straight-forward, or am I missing something- -
Perhaps it is an unorthodox report-- is this unusual in describing a high on a magnetic gradient map?
- I doubt it, but, ... no matter ...
