If you follow the links, you will see that Epri says most year 2000 programs begun by utilities focus only on software issues, and embedded systems have not received as much attention. I believe the utility industry could be faced with a staffing problem and project managment problem when trying to deal with both issues at the same time. Especially if they are beginning the embedded systems issue at this late date. I also wonder if TAVA is a member of EPRI? They have given two or three presentation to EPRI members and have come away with some business as a result. John
