WTC,
some other thoughts of mine. Fleet Financial is a group of simple minded,pin striped suited,conservative investors. I have tried myself to get venture capital from banks,and it is nearly impossible. They told me to go find some venture capitalists,as they are not interested in taking on large risks. That is why the delay with the line of credit for CVUS with Fleet.
On another point,why not target cities with the weakest cable companies,with the poorest reputations,and the least ability to provide new services? I would target every TCOMA installation,including their headquarters in Denver. I would not go head to head with COX.
