| Hi Bart,
Nice to hear from you again. I tend to agree with you on the salaries
only in the sense that you should provide a base salary with
incentive bonuses for performance. However, to keep good people,
you have to pay good salaries. Why work for peanuts when you
 can get an entire meal.

On the on-line medium....I respectfully disagree with you. There
are millions of people hooked up to the internet nowadays. 6 million
on AOL alone. The multimedia industry as a whole was caught
completely off-guard with the explosion of the internet. Gartner
Group Symposium analysts stated that this trend towards the internet
will continue and electronic commerce will grow at record paces.
In the end, multimedia companies like SW who do not build internet
capable software/upgrades will disappear. Of course, SW might
disappear for other reasons (e.g., competition or buyout), but
without a concerted effort to take advantage of this new medium
they will in essence become roadkill on the internet.

For example, I purchased Norton Antivirus. I love the updates
that I get on-line. Soon, I hope to purchase my software on-line
and that the "bandwidth" issues you describe will quickly be
overcome. Using the minimum 14.4K or 28.8K modems are indeed slow,
but faster bauds, ISDN, etc will soon make this a meaningless
 topic of concern.

 Thanks, Kent.
