hi, i talked to Ralph Curton on the phone a few weeks back, just trying to get a feel for the operation. seemed on the level. was quite willing to talk. i asked him about the stock price swoop and he said it was probably the damn market makers, said "we got to get outta the bird turd categorEEEE!" good idea, i said, since i have a few shares. he said that both acquisitions had been let go, were in need of turn around (particularly in sales and management effort), but that he had gotten them a fair price. i don't know how successful he will be, but i think he knows what he's doing.
i concluded that CBNR would almost certainly go back to 1.25 - 1.50 in the next 6 months and that there was a fair chance of 5+ in the two to three year range. he said that CBNR had assets of approx 20 million and would be trying for a listing during the next year. we'll see. does anyone in this conversation live near Cooper Mnfg or Wyoming Pipe & Tool or the natural gas assets in Michigan? Maine is too far for a Sunday drive. John Wetterau
