Arbitrage - the risk of deal not going through and the risk of siebel stock trading lower. I'm not an expert here, but you should be buying/selling on the fundamentals. I'm not a fan of SEBL stock at it's current valuation so SCOP doesn't seem attractive to me. I also am nervous about acquisitions of this type due to the complexities of product integration and people integration. M and A in the tech world is usually quite a mess, but this one seems more reasonable than many, but too much risk for me. However, you owned sebl at these prices and liked it, so we have a different opinion on sebl's value. TD
