In the merger announcement, I noticed that they are keeping VSGN's development facility..

"As part of the acquisition, Borland plans to
maintain a
major development facility at Visigenic's previous corporate headquarters in San
Mateo, Calif. "

I am wondering why... Was it required to keep the VSGN programmer's happy and give them some autonomy? Is their no room in the Borland campus (I doubt that!)? I'm a little geographically challenged when it comes to Silicon Valley, is Scotts valley that far from San Mateo? Having one combined facility was something I was expecting to see on the bottom line (savings)..
