NO PROFIT MARGIN IN sub-$1,000 PC's

Dell has the pick of the business in the corporate and "experienced"
users. These users buy machines often in the $2000+ range for performance reasons. Dell doesn't need the low end/first-time buyer PC's (sub-$1000) in its mix. It only makes profit margins decrease.
