Thomas, By WAN I believe he meant WAN backbone infrastructure components, like ATM, as opposed to network access (or network edge) products, like modems and ISV equipment used to connect to end-users. How does Ascend stand in the xDSL area relative to the competition ? That seemed to be an area of concern in my buddy's mind, if somewhat hazy memory serves. AF
