I agree that NPEC may continue to move in the short term. The asian crisis has not been as disinflationary (or even deflationary) as people thought it would be. Today for instance, the purchasing managers' report was very strong and the bond went down immediately. That says volumes about fear of inflation in the market, and upward pressure on the POG.

As for NPEC itself, the retracement from .10 or whatever could have been purely technical. (probably). So breaking through .10 this week or next is not that far-fetched. My wild speculation is 3/8 in three months.
